More Customizable Watch Band

I'm creating a replacement for my Pebble band after it broke rather than shelling out $30 for a new one. Previously only one side had broken, but now the other strap has snapped too, so I've decided to model both sides and while I was at it, add some Customizable features. This watchband is specifically designed to be printed with a flexible filament like NinjaFlex, FilaFlex or Taulman3D Nylon. It fits the Pebble, as well as other watches that use a 22mm band. It's designed to replace a broken band, making use of the existing metal buckle. You can print it out exactly as-is if your wrist size is roughly the same as mine or smaller. Alternatively, you can make adjustments using Customizer and enter: Length of the strap with holes in it Length of the strap with the buckle Width (defaults to 22mm, Pebble band width) Now let's take a look at the installation instructions. Print out the STL file using any flexible filament. I recommend going with 100% fill since it's only 2mm thick and solid is most durable. To put in the strap with holes, you're going to need to remove the spring pin that holds the original band to the watch. Just slide that pin into the tube at the end of the strap and snap it back into the watch. You might have to use a thin blade to press the pin shorter in order to take it out and get it to fit back into the watch. To install the strap with the buckle, do exactly what you did for the other one but this time using the end with the solid tube. Just attach the strap to the watch, slide the loop onto the strap so that when the watch is on, it holds down the other strap in place. Next up, move the metal buckle from the old strap over to the new one. To do this, take out the spring pin from the buckle on the original strap and hold the tongue (the part that fits into the holes in the watch strap) so the loop is in the open slit at the center of the other end. Now just slide the pin through the tube, through the loop in the tongue and then back through the tube. Finally, snap the buckle around the pin to reassemble it exactly like you had on the original strap.
