I've always had a fascination with cuckoo clocks, but I found the traditional ones to be quite limiting for our modern era. So, I decided to create my own version that better suits my tastes. Now, I'm excited to share this project with anyone who's interested in making it. This project consists of various small pieces that can be challenging to print, so I recommend printing them individually to avoid losing the entire work if one piece fails. All the parts were printed using ABS with a 0.4 mm nozzle. The smaller components were printed at 0.1 mm layer height, while the larger ones used 0.2 mm layer height. For optimal results, use the following settings: Recommended items for 0.1mm layer height: 1 x bird_support.stl 2 x door_join.stl 1 x gear.stl 4 x hinge.stl 2 x pusher.stl 1 x rack.stl 1 x bird_support.stl Recommended items for 0.2mm layer height: 1 x bird.stl 1 x ceiling.stl 1 x door_left.stl 1 x door_right.stl 1 x house.stl 2 x led_cover.stl 1 x rear.stl To assemble the clock, you'll need the following components: 1 x MAX7219 Dot Matrix Module for Arduino Microcontroller 4 in 1 Display 1 x Micro Servo 9g SG90 2 x RGB LEDs of 5mm 1 x 5V power supply with at least 2A Note that some pieces require gluing to connect. In this particular project, I used an ESP8266 connected to an internet time server to keep the clock accurate. For sound effects, I employed a DFPlayer module paired with a small speaker.
