A Moravian star, also known as a Herrnhuter Stern in German, is an illuminated Christmas and Advent decoration popular in Germany, certain American and European locations with Moravian congregations. Named after the Moravian Church, these stars are called Herrnhut Stars in Germany, referring to the Moravian Mother Community in Saxony, Germany where they were initially produced commercially. Information on other projects can be found at mydsgn.jtronics.de. You will also discover all my Thingiverse projects under thingiverse.com/jtronics/things. Assemble one star using cut-out parts from 17 four-sided shapes (4eckig.pdf), 8 three-sided pieces (3eckig.pdf), and 18 connection elements (verbindungstücke.pdf).
