Morai (Ahsoka's Convor Bird from Star Wars: Rebels)

This was my first organic sculpt in Blender, I designed it to scale with the Black Series Ahsoka Tano figure (Around 1/12 scale) and based the model on her appearance in the episode 'A World Between Worlds'. My printer is currently out of action so I've not been able to print this yet but I think it should be more or less in scale here. I'll update this post later this week when I've printed one but feel free to try it in the meantime. The tail on this model will likely make printing as one piece difficult so I've included a version with the tail removed so that it can be printed separately and attached with glue. I opted for the wing design used on this model instead of something closer to the TV show as the original wing design would be nearly unprintable at this scale, I tried to keep the shape as close as possible to preserve the overall look though. Other than that I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, if you decide to print one of these then I'd love to see it! EDIT 16/04/2020 - I've updated this model with a couple of new variations, the first is a sitting version of the bird so that the print can be displayed on the ground without being perched (Probably something I should have thought about beforehand!). The second is the same as the original Morai model but with her beak open for a slightly more expressive look, the sitting model also has this as an option. Finally I've changed the way in which the model is separated for printing, the cut where the tail is separated from the body is now in line with the bottom of the wings which should make for an easier print. These files have replaced the "Body" and "Tail" files, but the original versions are still available under the filenames "Body - Original Tail Cut" and "Tail - Original Cut". I hope you enjoy the new files! EDIT 18/04/2020 - I've created a remix of this model where the tail connects with a hole in the back instead of glue! This version of the model has swappable tails so it can be switched between a perched and sitting position.
