Problem: My old iPhone4 Ram Mount just wouldn't cut it anymore, thanks to my brand new iPhone5 which clearly needed a sleeker mount system. Adding a Mophie battery case on top of that only added to the issue, making my current setup look clunky and outdated. Solution: No time to waste, I broke out the toolkit and took matters into my own hands. First things first, I ditched the old iPhone4 clip from the Ram ball mount - it was useless to me now. From there, I whipped up this innovative cradle that perfectly grips the Mophie battery case in place. It's still a work in progress, so don't be surprised if some tweaks are needed along the way. Instructions: With Onshape, my new go-to CAD website that's currently riding out its Beta phase, creating something like this is easier than ever. I highly recommend checking it out and giving it a try - trust me, you won't regret it!
