Mop Head

Mop Head

Update: 1/12/17 After using it for several times, there's an issue which needs improvement on the next version: 1) The mob string keeps tangling with the two bolt heads. 2) Using the mob is fine, but maybe the base is too round, causing it to roll over; adding teeth or grip will help use it as a rubbing tool. 3) The new design will probably be screwed type rather than bolt... we'll see. Update: 10/9/17 The mop head attachment was broken, so I recreated a mop head adapter. I designed a new flower base with two screws to tighten. Also added additional curvature on the bottom base so that during mopping, the pressure creates better force on the mop string. The new base will have more space for the mop string to exit out. During usage, you may need to tighten more as the mop string gets wet; the gap between it will be smaller. In case the mop string gets tangled up, just unscrew and redo the string and put it back... it's flexible... You might also want to take a look at another household item design.
