Our custodian, Mike, brought me a small plastic piece that was on the verge of breaking, and asked if there might be any way for me to duplicate it using the school's 3-D printer. This is what I managed to create for him in SketchUp: Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: High Infill: Default Notes: The outside ring tends to stick to the raft, and requires a bit of effort to remove. It fits securely on the mop handle, at least, and provides adequate holding power. I've asked Mike to let me know how well it withstands time. I suspect it won't last very long, and wonder if it would hold up better if printed with a higher infill percentage rather than the default.
