Moose Head for Materio3D
thingiverse
I created another version of the moose head sculpture I designed for Materio 3D, found at https://www.materio3d.com/. The main difference is that the company's logo in the back is slightly larger and positioned differently. Materio 3D requested a model large enough to be printed without support and measuring over one meter tall. This required an enormous amount of print time, a whopping 168 hours, and weighed a massive eight kilograms. The filament Materio 3D produces is incredibly high-quality, and I appreciate their emphasis on local production and being Canadian. Modeling animals is one of my favorite tasks, and this project gave me the opportunity to do just that. You can watch a video of its creation at https://youtu.be/OLEm-BYVfus. I hope you enjoy it! If you decide to create a derivative work based on this model, please make sure to keep the Materio 3D logo visible somewhere in the design. Thank you!
