Moon Rover
thingiverse
This moon rover features simple design, focusing on its unique treads. The inspiration for converting Stretchy Bracelet into tank tracks comes from BenRockhold, and it works exceptionally well. On slightly grippy surfaces like carpet, the tracks roll easily. The track even fits the wheels so well that it could be used as a timing belt or chain. Printing instructions include turning off fill for tracks and warping may occur in rover body; however, it doesn't affect functionality significantly. PLA might help with warping issues, but ABS is crucial for tread performance. The OpenSCAD file allows customization of track dimensions, and a creative redesign of the rover body could earn you ten points.
