Moon Rocket - easier to assemble
thingiverse
I really appreciate this model from [BrianS2K](https://www.thingiverse.com/BrianS2K/about) ([https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3044216](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3044216)). I printed the larger version, but ran into trouble assembling the center parts due to extremely tight tolerances. So I decided to create a remix with a new center part that's slightly thinner and has shorter screw-ends which were also difficult to assemble. The other parts remain the original ones from [BrianS2K](https://www.thingiverse.com/BrianS2K/about). I printed all the parts with a resolution of 0.2 mm, using supports for the base and center. (Parts 201, 202, 203, 204 need to be printed in red; parts 203, 205 in white) After successfully assembling the rocket, I was thrilled to see it reach an impressive height of around 42 cm with a big smoke trail. It's an awesome model that you can use with or without the smoke stand. Thanks to [BrianS2K](https://www.thingiverse.com/BrianS2K/about) for this fantastic model! (With my modifications, the parts still fit very tightly, so no glue or epoxy resin is needed. A tiny hammer may be helpful in getting the color plates onto the center part. The screw also fits snugly, requiring a bit of torque to avoid it falling apart.)
