Moon Near Side / Far Side Coasters

Two circular coasters that capture the distinct topography of the moon's near side and far side come to life as 3D prints. These models are readily available on the NASA 3D Resources Library (https://nasa3d.arc.nasa.gov/detail/moon-nearside-farside). I printed mine using a PRUSA i3 MK3 in silver PLA, then perfected the finish with a heat gun to smooth out any rough edges. The result is a level of detail that shines when lit from an angle slightly below the print surface. These coasters could make for a beautiful addition to your home decor as wall art.
