Update 05/2020: I've been using the software luban3d for half a year now, which makes lithophane balls and many other shapes very easy and can be created in just a few minutes automatically! ----- Here is my own self-created Lithophane Moonball with my own images... Here is another good and easy tutorial for cutting out and assembling the half spheres with Windows 10 3D Builder: https://youtu.be/aB8bn3EcD34 PS: I recommend loading the ball and thread as individual STLs into the slicer and sliding them together to connect. (In my experience, attempting to boolean connect these two parts in any 3D program has resulted in errors at the connection point)
