All pieces print on a 150mm or larger bed. I modified the 6-inch Moon from [thing:3242080](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3242080) by cutting a hole at the South Pole, allowing for a lightbulb to be inserted inside. The original 6-inch Moon was printed in "transparent" PLA but it looked indistinct and crystalline due to the use of low-quality filament. I then tried printing it with transparent PETG, but the result resembled a round sugar cube because of air trapped in the print. Finally, I printed the Moon in natural-colored ABS, which turned out beautifully. The printer used was not optimized for PLA, so you may achieve better results. I printed the lampstand using copper-colored PLA and parts that are compatible with my Lithophane Lamp [thing:4242632](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4242632). You will need to print one of each file provided as per the illustration. To create a taller lamp, you can print additional sections. The 8W LED lightbulb and G9 ceramic bulb holder used in this project were purchased on eBay (see photo). A 5W bulb might be more suitable, but a dimmer lamp will allow for better detail viewing of the Moon. The photograph does not do justice to the lamp's appearance; it appears less bright but more impressive. The G9 ceramic bulb holder should be secured into the printed holder using two small nuts and bolts or chipboard screws. A mains cable should be fed through the base hole and clamped with chipboard screws. I used hot glue, but you can also use a zip-tie to secure the cable inside the base. The base pushes fit into the bottom but may require glue if it is too loose. The Moon rests on top of the lamp for easy bulb replacement.
