Moon Globe Night Light

Please note that the original "diffuser" component file had a scaling issue, which has been replaced with "diffuserB," ensuring proper scaling. The diffuser should measure 15mm in diameter. My Moon Globe is a unique compilation of the best parts from various sources, merged to create an even more user-friendly experience. Additionally, I have incorporated a LED module with remote control for color selection, brightness adjustment, and fade effects. This can be achieved through the use of a circuit board like the one found on eBay at https://www.ebay.ca/itm/232434506112, which features USB remote control, 16-color DIY, 3D printing moon light night TE783. To enhance the overall effect, I have added a diffuser cap to the LED module, allowing for more even light scattering. This may require some minor adjustments during assembly, such as lightly scraping certain parts for a snug fit. The light module should be inserted into the base/cap holder at the center and gently turned for secure placement. The base cap threads nicely into the globe's threaded collar, enabling easy disassembly for any necessary maintenance or repairs to the light module. Simply connect the battery lead, charge the module, and enjoy your Moon Globe by touching the metal collar of the charge port or using the convenient IR remote control located at the base. I drew inspiration from various designs on Thingiverse, including "Glowing Moon" by Brandonzhun (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2531838), which I used as a mount for holding the light module. Additionally, I utilized and modified the threaded mounting design from "Moon Lamp" by WindoAC (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2598082) and incorporated it into my project. Sliced using Cura 3.04 and printed on an Anet A6 with PLA filament from MG Chemicals, this Moon Globe features a translucent finish. The settings used were as follows: * Extruder temperature: 210⁰C * Hot Bed temperature: 70⁰C * Globe print settings: + Layer height: 0.2mm + Skirt enabled + No supports + 100% infill * Diffuser and holder print settings: + Layer height: 0.2mm + Brim enabled + No supports + 100% infill * Base/Cap print settings: + Layer height: 0.2mm + Curved surface up + Supports from bed and brim + 100% infill To ensure a smooth printing process, it is essential to settle all parts flat on the build plate before slicing. Always check the layer-by-layer view to verify that everything is in place. Happy printing!
