Moon globe LED lamp
thingiverse
Smaller moon globe lamp, approximately 100mm in diameter. This unique design utilizes four AA batteries to power a single LED segment of a five-volt LED strip. To ensure stability and prevent damage during printing, it is crucial to employ supports through the opening at the bottom of the lamp. A deliberate horizontal offset of 5mm was incorporated into the design to guarantee adequate separation from the threads. For optimal results, multiple layers of dense supports should be used if your slicer software allows for this feature. If you're fortunate and achieve good spacing between supports and the object itself, the supports may come off in one piece. In cases where the dense support layers remain attached to the top of the globe, a large hemostat can greatly simplify the removal process.
