Moon globe from LRO data
thingiverse
The LRO dataset is accurately reconstructed on a finely divided icosahedron. The first number represents the degree of subdivision, with higher values indicating higher resolution, and the second number serves as an exaggeration multiplier. Unfortunately, Thingiverse imposes a file size limit of 200MB for uploads, so only the OBJ files for the nine iterations are available due to their smaller size compared to STL files. If you're interested in accessing the 10th or 11th iteration datasets, please don't hesitate to reach out. The data source can be found at astrogeology.usgs.gov/search/details/Moon/LRO/LOLA/Lunar_LRO_LOLA_Global_LDEM_118m_Mar2014/cub.
