Added a 5-inch diameter moon to the model by subtracting 1/4 inch from its Z-axis dimension, resulting in a clean, gap-free opening that printed perfectly without support and filled solidly at 100%. Next, printed the flange with a reduced infill density of 20%, yielding a lighter yet still robust component.
