The Monument to the Daughters of León consists of three sculptures representing the three princesses of the Kingdom of León: Doña Sancha and her daughters Urraca and Elvira. In honor of the three women who contributed most to the development of San Isidoro Cathedral in León - whose remains rest there for eight centuries in the Royal Pantheon - it was placed nine hundred years later, in a Romanesque setting, as a tribute to the death of the princess sisters, since both died in 1101.
