This sculpture is part of a monumental fountain honoring the life and accomplishments of French painter Jean-Antoine Watteau. It was designed and carved by renowned French sculptor Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, also famous for his sculpture of Ugolino and his Sons (check out more of his work on Scan the World here!). This object is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory that creates a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe available for free to the public.
