Monument to Maria Radzwille Krasinski with her son Zygmunt
myminifactory
Count Vincenzo Corvino Krasinski commissioned the plaster model for the marble monument in the Church of Opinogóra in Ciechanow near Warsaw, completed in 1839. The design was intended to recreate a pivotal moment: the death of Countess Maria in 1822, witnessed by their young son Zygmunt, who would later become a renowned poet (1812-1859). Crafted from marble in 1841, the monument embodies Luigi Pampaloni's signature sentimental realism.
