This monument was commissioned by (presumably) Count Stanisław Dunin-Borkowski in 1816 in honour of his late mother Jozefa Borkowska. This is the original plaster model for the work, the finished marble is housed in the Dominican Church, Lviv, Ukraine. She was married to County Jerzy Jan Albert Dunin-Borkowski (1731-1788)
