The monument was established in 2008 on Lenina Prospect at number 65, directly across from the entrance of Maternity Hospital #1. The monument is small in size. A half-open head of cabbage has a newly born baby inside it. This monument is made of stone; the height of the baby is approximately sixty centimeters tall. The monument rests upon a granite pedestal and reaches a total height of about 1.5 meters. The monument assists parents in answering their children's age-old question, "Where do babies come from?" Oleg Kislitsky is the sculptor responsible for creating this unique piece.
