MONTY - A simple, happy planter
thingiverse
The initial concept was quite fast-paced and required some fine-tuning. Initially, it was supposed to be assembled using bolts, but I discovered that gluing everything together produced a more seamless outcome. The model turned out to be slightly too compact, so scaling it up by 20-30% from its original size should result in a more ideal design. Monty draws inspiration from Danbo, the cardboard box robot character created by Kiyohiko Azuma for his manga series Yotsuba&!. Additionally, I drew inspiration from XYZWorkshops' succulent planter design.
