Montini Tower Peaks (Lego Compatible)
thingiverse
Montini building bricks were manufactured in the Netherlands from 1961 to 1969. Initially produced from pliable polypropylene, they featured diagonal fins that bent slightly around adjacent blocks. Compatible with classic Lego full-height bricks, these vintage Montini parts are now available. Montini's original product line included 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 pip towers; additional pieces were later added to this collection. Optimized for a 0.4mm nozzle, these friction-fit parts require precise tolerances. It is essential not to mix printed Montini bricks with vintage originals due to PLA's hardness and layer ridges that act like sandpaper, causing rapid wear on the original blocks. Before printing, verify that the infill angle spans across diagonal fins to prevent sagging of the top plate's first layer featuring pips.
