Montini Hercules Relief (Lego Compatible)
thingiverse
I made this votive relief to Hercules from individual Montini building blocks. The Montini model was created by me and sliced into artwork that fits as a relief on a wall of bricks. Original artwork scan: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-votive-relief-95816 Montini building bricks were produced in the Netherlands from 1961 to 1969. They were originally made from soft, pliable polypropylene. The diagonal fins bend slightly around the pips of the other block. http://www.puppenhausmuseum.de/montini-bausteine.html These are optimized for a 0.4mm nozzle and are friction fit parts, so tolerances are crucial. Do not mix these with original Montini parts. PLA is much harder than the original bricks, and the layer ridges act like sandpaper. Before printing, check that the infill angle crosses the diagonal fins to prevent sagging of the first layer of the top plate that has the pips.
