Montini bricks were manufactured from 1961 to 1969 in the Netherlands, crafted initially from soft and pliable polypropylene. The diagonal fins on these blocks curve slightly around the pips of adjacent blocks. These vintage-inspired parts are compatible with classic Lego full-height bricks just like their original Montini counterparts. To ensure a proper fit, optimize your print settings for a 0.4mm nozzle and note that these parts are friction fit, making tolerances crucial. Avoid mixing these printed bricks with authentic Montini parts as PLA is significantly harder than the originals and layer ridges can wear down the vintage bricks quickly. Before printing, double-check that your infill angle aligns across the diagonal fins to prevent sagging on the top plate's first layer that features the pips. Most of the original Montini components have been modeled; I will upload the remaining pieces in the near future. I would be thrilled to see what you create with these bricks.
