Montini Building Bricks Roof Pieces (Lego Compatible)
cults3d
These Montini part re-makes are designed for constructing roofs of buildings, featuring roof peaks and sides in 2 and 4 pip lengths. The original design of the peaks proved ineffective in rigid PLA, prompting a small design change to the bottom of those parts. Both part types are included in this set. Montini building bricks were produced from 1961 to 1969 in the Netherlands, originally made from soft, pliable polypropylene. The diagonal fins flex slightly around the pips of adjacent blocks. Visit http://www.puppenhausmuseum.de/montini-bausteine.html for more information on vintage Montini parts. These re-makes are compatible with classic Lego full-height bricks just like their vintage counterparts. Please do not mix these re-made Montini parts with original ones. PLA is significantly harder than the original bricks, and layer ridges act like sandpaper, causing excessive wear to the original bricks.
