Montini bricks were manufactured in the Netherlands between 1961 and 1969. Initially, they were crafted from flexible polypropylene materials. Please visit www.puppenhausmuseum.de/montini-bausteine.html. When combining these bricks with original Montini components, caution is advised. PLA-based bricks are significantly harder than their predecessors, and the layer ridges can cause significant wear on the classic Montini pieces. The top pips of the bricks are designed to fit perfectly with full-height Lego classic bricks. However, the bottom holes may accommodate Lego pips but do not provide a secure grip. A right-angled strip feature was incorporated into the design, mimicking the original Montinis' internal pips. An additional set with external pips was also added for use as perimeter decorations on buildings.
