Montini building bricks were manufactured from 1961 to 1969 in the Netherlands, utilizing a unique blend of soft and pliable polypropylene materials. The distinctive diagonal fins on each brick flex slightly around the pips of adjacent blocks. These optimized bricks are designed specifically for use with a 0.4mm nozzle, requiring precise tolerances to ensure friction fit connections between parts. Mixing these replicas with original Montini components is not recommended due to significant differences in material hardness and layer ridge texture, which can cause rapid wear on the original bricks. Modeling of most original Montini parts has been completed, with additional designs scheduled for upload in the near future. The two-pip-by-n-pip set has already been uploaded for public access through Thingiverse.
