Montini Aztec Dragon Head (Lego Compatible)

Montini Aztec Dragon Head (Lego Compatible)

thingiverse

This unique brick combines a classic Montini design with an Aztec-inspired dragon head, sourced from Mexico City. Like the vintage original Montini bricks, this custom piece is fully compatible with classic Lego full-height blocks. Montini building bricks were manufactured in the Netherlands between 1961 and 1969. Initially made from soft, pliable polypropylene, these bricks featured distinctive diagonal fins that flexed slightly around the pips of adjacent blocks. For more information on Montini building bricks, visit puppenhausmuseum.de/montini-bausteine.html. When combining custom Montini parts with original pieces, be aware of the difference in material: PLA is significantly harder than the original polypropylene bricks. The layer ridges on PLA bricks can act like sandpaper, causing them to wear down original Montini pieces quickly. If you'd like to showcase your creation, I'd love to see it!
