Montelouro face shield no rubber band
thingiverse
This face shield is inspired by the 3DVERKSTAN protective visor by Erik Cederberg and the Unidad de Impresión 3D Hospital Gregorio Marañón face shield. I modeled it from scratch in Rhino, and it's not intended for health workers. This model has several advantages: - It doesn't require a rubber band. - It's respectful to any hairdo. - It uses only 15 grams of filament, which can produce more than 60 units with one kilogram. - It's designed for use with four holes punch or two holes punch, eliminating the need for templates or additional measurements. - The top is open to prevent excessive fogging. - The foil is kept a little distant from the face to avoid fogging. The model is also stackable. PRINT SETTINGS - PLA - For single prints, any layer height can be used (total height is 5.4mm). - For stacked versions, a 0.3mm layer height is mandatory. - No support material is needed. I used 100% infill with a concentric pattern for the bottom and top layers, as well as the infill. If you reduce the infill percentage, don't use the concentric pattern for the infill. Reducing infill doesn't provide any advantage when using a concentric pattern. Stacked versions can be tricky to print. I recommend testing two units first and adjusting fans and speed according to the results. It took 2 hours and 30 minutes to print four stacked units on a Prusa HephestosXL.
