Thanks to everyone who joined forces with us to support our health care heroes. If you'd like to deliver these essential items to our health care friends but aren't comfortable getting too close to a hospital, you can arrange a contactless drop-off at our home and we'll make sure they get there safely. OUR ASSEMBLY VIDEO: https://youtu.be/i6jcFMkb4bs ABOUT THIS PROJECT: We set out to find a way to contribute to the health care crisis unfolding around us. One of the pressing issues was the shortage of N95 masks in hospitals, which were already being rationed. While we initially supported the Copper3D design, we've since shifted our focus to the MontanaMask. This is the V1 mask currently being distributed by www.makethemasks.com. I've made some key modifications: 1. I ran the model through the Netfabb repair service. 2. I added scaled models for larger and smaller humans: * X-Large = 110-110-110 * Large = 100-100-100 * Medium = 90-90-95 * Small = 80-80-90 3. I updated the filter to allow for the use of the cotton+polypropylene combo. Ongoing tests are exploring other filter materials. PROS FOR THIS DESIGN: * The thermoforming process has a low learning curve, which minimizes human error during assembly. * Two layers of filtration provide enhanced protection with the dual filter insert. * Adjustable tension straps offer greater comfort and flexibility. * Straps can be easily sanitized in a bath.
