Modifications to this mask: Thinned interior of mask by 0.50mm to boost flexibility Elevated nose bridge Tugged tip of nose bridge towards face Added sealing flange for insert to sit snug against Enhanced features to decrease empty space between insert and mask housing inlet To complement the instructions from the link above, add the following suppression: Position Filter media over insert, then push into mask housing inlet from the front of the mask. Pressing down on the front of the mask against something flat ensures a proper fit, with the insert seated firmly against the new sealing flange. The 3D printed mask information here is meant to aid the general public during the COVID-19 pandemic and related shortages of personal protective equipment nationwide. Be aware that this mask design does not replace standard protective gear such as N-95 masks or surgical masks when available. The use of these 3D printed masks has not been thoroughly tested, nor approved by federal or state authorities.
