Montana Mask Filter Draw-Cut Guide (2.5" squares)
thingiverse
We developed this guide specifically for drawing and cutting precise 2.5" fabric pieces that fit perfectly inside facemasks as filters. The Montana Mask design is the primary focus (you can find our modified version on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4440610). To use it, simply insert a pen or pencil into the guides to draw cut lines and you'll have a custom-sized filter insert for your mask in no time. This tool is especially useful if you need to produce multiple masks quickly. We designed four finger pads to help hold the guide in place as you mark up the mask. These pads can be positioned at different points along the guide to accommodate various markings, making it easier to create multiple filters that fit perfectly inside the mask. This guide was created to streamline our process of producing multiple filters for each mask. By doing so, we can make the most out of each mask, potentially creating 4-6 filters from a single mask. This means people can extend the lifespan of their masks and get more use out of them.
