An’ there ain’t no solution for ‘em!” “A’course, a brave an’ talented group a’ heroes such as yourselves…ya might fancy ya kin find a way.” The Monstrous Pollywog models are designed to be printed in 3 different sizes, which correspond to common RPG size categories. The Tiny models fit on ½” bases, the Small models fit on ¾” bases, and the Medium figures fit on 1” bases. Simple blank base files are also included, or you can use your own favorite designs. Use your print software to ‘mirror’ the pollywogs for even more variety: you can print a huge swarm and they’ll all seem to be unique! Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. The Monstrous Pollywogs were first released as pewter miniaturse in the DRAGON FROG kickstarter, though a full range of size options are presented here.
