The inspiration for rebuilding this prop came when I stumbled upon a real-life version while browsing Google images. The reference photos used were courtesy of StefanFX. This project was both enjoyable and time-consuming, as each part was printed, edited, and reprinted multiple times using my Lulzbot mini 3D printer. Only the final files are provided, with certain sections requiring additional prints to achieve optimal results. The mid-section (SCMidHalfandGauge) needs to be printed twice, while (SCBBpart1)(SCBBpart2) must also be printed twice, as these Black rings separate the top and bottom parts. To ensure the best print quality, each of these components has its own file. The file (SCbackplateledholder) was designed to hold a strip of LEDs down the center of the combined three parts behind the tube/gauge. A clear plastic tube, typically used for shipping or storing machined parts, serves as the tube itself, but no file is included. All parts were glued together before being coated with Smooth-On's XTC-3D. Light sanding preceded painting, and emblems and area around gauge were masked and painted on separately. Further work remains, including lettering in a few spots and designing a connector for the top middle section.
