Team 308's Game Design Challenge submission. Made in Fusion 360.While on a cave exploration you find riches beyond belief, but in your haste, youhave set off a trap and water has now blocked the exit. Take the keys (elements) to thevault, the central human player station, so you can open chests of treasure (power-ups)and lower bridges to escape, hurry though, your time is running out. The field is dividedinto two sides by the bridges. The lone robot of an alliance will be on the same side asits corresponding human player station and the 2 robots of the other alliance. The othertwo robots of the first alliance will be placed on side of the field with the opposinghuman player station. During the first 30 seconds of Shape Escape robots areautonomous, they will get points for moving off the initiation line and will get 2x pointsfor putting a key into a slot. After autonomous, robots will get points for putting keys inholes and unlocking bridges. A bridge can be destroyed if a key is removed, only thencan it be rebuilt. Chests are located in the vault. Each chest can only be unlocked onceand they can be unlocked in any order; To unlock a point bonus, your team will needthree squares, to unlock a bridge, robots will need 3 triangles, to randomly delay a robotfrom the other team for a couple of seconds, you will need 3 circles, and to destroy abridge you must bring a circle, a square, and a triangle to the vault. Destroying a bridgefrom the vault is the only way to permanently destroy a bridge. At the start of endgame,the completed bridges will lower, giving your robots a chance to escape with thetreasure! Robots can earn endgame points for being on a bridge when time runs out.Unlocking all the chests, and getting all 3 robots on bridges will earn your team rankingpoints.
