In this final version, I anchored the sphere in three locations for a stable design, though be cautious while removing the support structure to avoid cutting off the posts. This project was created through experimentation in Groboto and features nine autobots; it took approximately 8.5 hours to print on a MakerBot Replicator2 using ReplicatorG with white MB PLA at 220°C, 0.2mm layer height, 1 shell, 40 feedrate, and 55 travel feed. The raft-based design required 72gms of material, but the finished product weighs only 32gms; thus, patience is vital when trimming the support structure to avoid breaking the spikes.
