Monster Hunter - Working Switch Axe

This is a Switch Axe from Monster Hunter with a design inspired by the GaleFrost, making it my entry into the Monster Hunter Contest. The pictured Switch Axe was printed at 40% of its actual size to allow for timely submission. This smaller scale surprised me, as I find it quite appealing, but at full size, no one will mess with you. What makes this Switch Axe truly exceptional is its low-maintenance switching mechanism. To convert the axe to Sword Mode, simply pull down on the axe portion, and to switch back, push up on it. This smooth transition is achieved through a rail design that required numerous prototypes to perfect. The rail system can even be modified to accommodate other types of Switch Axes. The Switch Axe's parts are designed with smaller printers in mind, making it possible to print at full size even on these devices.
