Monster Hunter Sword

This is my Monster Hunter sword for the Raise3D/Capcom Competition. Printed full size, it's over 4 feet long - 1.25 meters. A 5mm metal rod runs through its center, which can be purchased from most DIY stores. Extra alignment dowels provide ease of assembly and added strength; I recommend printing these in ABS with a 100% Fill. Assembly is straightforward, but if you have any questions, just let me know - no support prints required. Mine was printed in ABS on a Robox. It was then sanded, filled, and primed before receiving a vibrant Candy red paint job by Plastikote. The handle's details were modeled to give you the option of painting directly onto the print or wrapping it with another material, just like I did.
