Monster Hunter - Spear of the Beast (Insect Glaive)

This is my entry into the Monster Hunter Contest, a project born from scratch using Blender. I've included my initial design and the spear with damage, which I added in TinkerCad since I'm more familiar with that software. The large sliced pieces were scaled to fit a 7/8 inch dowel for the body and utilize a 1/4 inch dowel for the connectors in the blade. The final weapon measures over five feet long, depending on the length of dowel used. Unfortunately, my printer jammed, preventing me from printing it at the same time as I had planned, so I wasn't able to fully paint and finish it as I envisioned.
