MONSTER HUNTER - RAVAGER BLADE

Dear Community, I proudly introduce you to the Ravager Blade from Monster Hunter Series, my entry design for the competition made possible by Capcom and MyMiniFactory teams. I'm thrilled with the blade I created as it's the largest prop I've ever made, requiring a significant amount of time to print. The reaction from friends who saw it was overwhelming, and some are even asking if they can have their own version, despite never playing the game! The design is meticulously detailed, mirroring the Ravager Blade in every aspect, including the retractable fin blades on the side. To achieve this level of accuracy, I had to be creative with how these fins would stay in place when extended without spinning. The process involved trial and error, such as printing the handle stick horizontally to withstand the weight of the blade. Print Information: The Blade measures 1.5 meters in length and weighs approximately 2 kilograms. Total Print Time: 172 hours, spanning one week. Don't be fooled by its massive size – printing it is relatively easy! Support was only required for one part, "13 – Frame pt.2," as the slider openings on the side needed minimal support, weighing about 10 grams. All parts are printed in their original orientation used during printing. WARNING! The uploaded blade parts are large due to their intended size, resulting in a total dimension of 146.5 cm X 53.8 cm X 7.8 cm. To accommodate the largest print, a build plate with dimensions not less than 30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm is required. Feel free to scale down the parts, but ensure all components are resized identically.
