Hello everyone. For this competition, I chose to reimagine the magnificent sword Aerial showcased in the contest's image bank. Although unfamiliar with the world of Monster Hunter beyond its name, the oversized game weapons are certainly visually appealing. The vast, vibrant fantasy universe offers endless possibilities for storytelling. As suggested in the contest brief, a re-scale was necessary to avoid a 3-meter-long piece. A new key was incorporated post-re-scale, naturally aligning with its function. Unlike the game, where your sword serves as a tool for strength and navigation, this design transforms into a pen, allowing you to write and illustrate your own adventure. I hope you appreciate my creation and the softness it embodies, mirroring its counterpart. This design was crafted using SolidWorks and 3D printed on the Raise 3D N2 Dual.
