Monster High Blank Torso - V1
myminifactory
Part 2 of 2 of the initial pieces from our MyMiniFactory Monster High Hack project. Check out the parts created so far. The zip files contain a 3D printable version of the Monster High doll torso. Uses for this head include: 1. Download, 3D print and decorate however you want, e.g with sculpey clay, artists acrylics etc. Please note that shoulder joints are not working perfectly, so arms will not be fixed in place. 2. Download the STL, import into your favorite design software (e.g zbrush), customize and then print! Here's how it works: These body base meshes were generated using a David 3D scanner at the Imakr store London. The joints were recreated using Solidworks Software. The meshes were cleaned in Zbrush, and the joints from Solidworks also imported into Zbrush to be merged into the cleaned up scans. This is a stage 1 file, so it's not 100% perfect. The legs and head attach fine, but the arm joints still need work to allow the arms to fix in place...stay tuned for updates or if you want to contribute to this project, make contact.
