Monster Crate

This creature emerged from a World of Warcraft-inspired design, specifically a creepy crate pet, whose model was pulled directly from the game. A friend's Dungeons & Dragons campaign sparked this creation, calling for a unique mimic breed. I scaled down the original design to 60% and brought it to life with my 3D printer, resulting in a 22-gram model that required just over two hours to print. In place of supports, I employed cardboard reinforcements to stabilize the upper lid as it took shape during printing.
