MonoX Wash station
thingiverse
Wash station for Anycubic Mono X. Gives a minimum 15mm clearance around the full build volume. I'll add a build plate / steel sheet mount to hang inside when I've finished it. Made for a 120mm fan (mine was 38mm deep, but there are shims included for deeper/shallower fans). There's also a converter box for a 92mm fan. I had one of each laying around, so I don't have a link. There's enough depth in the magnet holes for 2 magnets. It's a tight fit, but it needs to be, as they're very strong - I glued them in place. I found I had to leave a 10mm gap between the magnets on the motor and the bottom of the tub to get the best performance (using the fan shim to stop the fan being pulled upwards). You could probably get away with only 1 magnet in each slot (so 8 in total). When you put the magnets in, make sure they're all the same way up on the motor mount / impeller and that the two sets attract each other when the impeller and motor mount face each other. Put some card / a book between them when you check. There are 3 different motor magnet mounts - with 41, 45 and 50mm diameter cutouts - pick whichever one will best fit your fan. Cut the blades off your fan so it only has to spin the magnets. It'll also stop the stand becoming a hovercraft when you test it. There are two impeller mounts - one normal and one with a brace to stop it bowing down to the bottom of the tub - I needed this but, again, if you only put one magnet in each slot you may not need it. You can also print the brace separately and glue it on afterwards if you find you need it. The 120mm fan slot is 58mm deep, to give plenty of room to adjust the clearance for the best performance - it will depend on your fan. I printed a 10mm shim and 2 5mm shims so that I could tweak it and found that a 10mm gap below the tub worked well. Power (12V/24V) goes to the female jack at the rear, to the PWM motor speed controller mounted at the front, with the output going to the fan. I added an adjustable DC-DC boost converter (set to ~15v) before the motor speed controller to let me overdrive the fan a bit. It didn't make much difference to mine, but there's a link to it anyway just in case it's useful. Video of it running : https://youtu.be/EHq_m9arMv8
