A customized ramp for the Lego monorail system complements my existing five-brick extension for standard ramps, elevating tracks 10 bricks high to match elevated terrain up to 15 studs high. The ramp increases track height by five bricks over a 48-stud length. It is comprised of three sections: a lower, mid, and upper section. Removing the mid-section allows for a height adjustment to 2 1/3 bricks. Even without support stands, I recommend using 2x2 plates under the tracks for stability reasons. The curved design necessitates elevating the model by 1.5-2mm to facilitate easy removal of supports. Rotating the track 15-20 degrees can also improve print surface smoothness. Update: v3 tracks have recesses on their undersides, allowing them to sit atop studs or accommodate accessories underneath. Currently, I'm using BASF Innofil3D PLA in grey, which closely resembles new light grey bricks and has a unique texture. If you have alternative material suggestions, please share them in the comments. I'm not entirely satisfied with the design due to its complexity during printing, particularly when removing supports. Printing with water-soluble support materials might yield better results.
