Monoprice Ultimate / Wanhao D6 Spool Holder, Top-Mounted

This spool holder is designed specifically for the Monoprice Maker Ultimate, but it should also work seamlessly with the Wanhao Duplicator 6. Two parts are required: a support base structure that clips onto the top of the printer and the actual spool holder, which needs four printed units based on the clever design found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2047554. You'll need four 608 bearings to be pressed fit into the spool holder. A 16-pack can be purchased from a large online retailer for $10. I previously designed a more compact spool holder that mounts to the side and doesn't require any bearings (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2885424), but this newer design will be my primary setup since it produces less friction when pulling out filament. **Update 10-28-2018** A new option, "Option2," has been added that inverts the groove on the Spool Holder and Support Base, locking them together and preventing the spool holders from tipping over. This is the version I'm currently using. **Update 08-10-2019** Older versions have been removed to leave only the recommended parts to use. A new SpoolSupportBase_v3 has been added that pushes the spool away from the printer by another inch, along with a Guide and GuidePost to keep filament from jumping off the spool.
