Monoprice Ultimate 4020 Vent Plate

May only be compatible with Micro Swiss heat sinks. This is revision 4 of a Monoprice Ultimate (Wanhao D6) vent plate that employs a 4020 blower fan to blow air directly onto plastics, thereby enhancing print quality and bridging capabilities. The concept behind this design aims to reduce sagging, minimize footprint, and increase stability. There is an increase of 10mm on the right side of the mounting holes; builders of models requiring more build plate surface should take this into account. https://youtu.be/pLqsar4VC5M To assemble and attach the blower, you will need: 1. 1@ 4020 24v blower fan (may require extending wires) 2. 6@ M3x18mm hex bolts 3. 3@ M3 hex nuts The mounting holes are a tight fit; hex nuts must be press-fit into place. First, install the hex nuts, then attach the vent plate to the heatsink, and finally attach the blower motor to the mount. I have also included my bridge test STL, which tests the vent plate at 25mm/50mm/75mm distances. At 25mm, sag is nearly imperceptible; at 50mm, very slight; and at 75mm, more noticeable but still bridges exceptionally well. The included video demonstrates PLA printing at 65mm/s; slower speeds may yield better results. Note: The included photos are of the final test print using PLA; I highly recommend ABS if possible.
