This is a remix of the spool holder by Jason Jones. Best to print with .1 res you can do more but you will need to sand the spindle and pin. This remix makes the holder easy to remove if needed and raises it up a bit more for a better feed angle. It sits on the original spool mount point and clamps the sides very well. It can be printed on the MP select too. Update: I added the remixed spool center made to fit Hatchbox spools. This centers the larger spool on the spindle so the edges won't drag on the front of hanger. It is slightly undersized intentionally. I put a strip double sided tape around the holder to stick it to the spool. This way it is semi-permanent but can be removed when the spool is empty. I did not have any other examples of large spools to make other versions but adjusting it for your spools should be easy enough. Update: For really small spools, or almost used up spools I drag the holder closer to the top of the printer to have a straighter feed for the filament. I keep it there with a few small magnets under the spool holder. Simple and works well. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 30%
